Grape Camp is right around the corner.
November 1st and 2nd will be the 2015 Annual Grape Camp at Lady Bird Johnson Park Pavilion, in Fredericksburg Texas.
Texas Plant and Soil Lab sponsors Grape Camp annually and will once again this year be sponsoring the Beverage Table and Break Session.
Grape Camp is a two-day event of information and education specific to helping Texas grape growers. Texas Plant and Soil Lab has long supported grape growers and the Texas Wine & Grape Growers Association. Texas Plant and Soil Lab offers grape specific soil testing, and grape specific plant sap and leaf testing.
The first day is geared for beginners and those interested in getting started growing grapes. Information includes irrigation, soil fertility and testing, controlling disease and types of grapes and vineyard management.
The second day continues these lessons while focusing on advanced growers and expounding upon the lessons of previous grape camps. It's all wrapped up that Sunday night with the celebration reception and dinner where attendees share wine from their vineyards.
For more information and registration visit the Texas Wine & Grape Growers Association's Grape Camp page.
Texas Plant and Soil Lab will see you there. Look for our banner, that's where you'll find the refreshments.
